WhatsApp Introduces New Feature that Allows only Admins to Send Messages to WhatsApp Groups
WhatsApp has been rolling out lots of new features for both Android and iOS users and some of them are focused mainly on improving group experiences such as the option to include group descriptions, a catch-up feature, and protection for people who are being added repeatedly to groups they've left.
Now, WhatsApp has just rolled out a new feature for both android and ios users which allows only group Admins to send messages in a group. This new feature will make it possible for group Admins to share important information or announcement in a group without being interrupted by other group members. The feature will come in handy for important WhatsApp groups including parents and teachers at schools, community centers, and non-profit organizations.
This new feature has already started rolling out in the latest version of WhatsApp for both Android and iOS devices. To enable the new setting, open Group Info, then tap Group Settings > Send Messages and select Only Admins.
